Step into a key role supporting patient care through high-quality diagnostic imaging. This contract opportunity utilizes your expertise as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer to perform general ultrasound exams in a respected healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, variable shifts based on department needs

Required Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent)
• Clinical experience in general ultrasound imaging
• Proficiency with modern ultrasound equipment and software
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• High attention to detail and excellent critical thinking skills
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Exceptional interpersonal communication to interact with patients and healthcare staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a range of general ultrasound procedures independently, ensuring images meet diagnostic quality standards
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Accurately document findings and maintain complete records in accordance with facility policies
• Collaborate with physicians and medical teams to relay significant findings and provide technical assistance as needed
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized work environment
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols
