Youll work alongside respected healthcare professionals, supporting physicians during an array of ultrasound procedures, and deepen your knowledge with complex cases including OB/GYN and vascular exams. Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour Day Shifts (MondayFriday, 8:00 am5:00 pm)
- 13-week assignment, starting 5/11/2026
- 40 hours per week after first two weeks
- Possible on-call (approx. 7 days/month) including weekends as staffing needs arise
- Float assignments may be required, to be discussed with unit leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform routine and specialized ultrasound exams
- Provide direct support to physicians during diagnostic procedures
- Deliver excellent patient care and ensure adherence to established ultrasound safety and quality standards
- Assist with 2nd and 3rd trimester OB/GYN ultrasound exams and DVT scans
- Maintain accurate records within the EPIC EMR
Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science and graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Minimum 3 years experience in ultrasound
- OB/GYN credential preferred
- Experienced in upper and lower extremity DVT studies
- BLS certification through AHA
- One or more of the following credentials: ARRT-VS, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB/GYN, RDMS-RVT, RDMS-PS, RDMS-MSKS, RDMS-BR
