Job Description

Step into a dynamic radiology environment at a leading Level III Trauma Center recognized for excellence in patient care and advanced technology. This contract position places you within a high-acuity, fast-paced imaging department, where your expertise as a Radiology Technologist ensures optimal outcomes for a diverse range of patients.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Shifts vary based on departmental needs, with typical flex of 1-1.5 hours for start times
  • Monday to Friday with every other weekend rotation
  • One weekday off before and after each assigned weekend
  • On-call rotation: one call shift per week (1st call 0630-1400, 2nd 1400-2230, 3rd 2230-0630)
  • Expectation to work one holiday per contract

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical radiology experience
  • Active ARRT certification and Wisconsin Radiology License required
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong competence in surgery, procedures, and general imaging; high comfort with portable and mid-high level hospital cases
  • Experienced in Fluoro (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain procedures, urology) and OR protocols (orthopedics, spine, or general cases), with preference for candidates familiar with o-arm systems

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and support procedures for inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges
  • Operate GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray systems, C-arms (GE 9900/Elites, Medtronic o-arm), and document in EPIC EMR and PACS (McKesson)
  • Collaborate with radiologists, lead techs, and a multi-disciplinary care team in a 24/7 staffed environment
  • Participate in department orientation and adhere to hospital protocols including call responsibilities and scheduling policies
