Job Description

Deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging services as a skilled professional supporting pediatric patient care. This contract opportunity focuses on radiologic technology within a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring high-quality images to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Participation in call schedule (details to be confirmed during interview)

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in radiology technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (or equivalent state license, if applicable)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment and digital radiography
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented pediatric environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to imaging protocols and safety standards
  • Up-to-date with all mandatory health, safety, and credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position pediatric patients for safe and accurate imaging procedures
  • Ensure all procedures meet quality and safety guidelines, with sensitivity to the needs of children and families
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
  • Provide reassurance and clear instructions to patients and guardians throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with pediatricians, technologists, and nurses on care and workflow
