Deliver exceptional patient care and technical expertise as an Imaging - Radiology Tech / X-ray Technologist within a highly regarded medical environment. This contract role offers an opportunity to expand your clinical skills while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive setting.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Previous experience in general radiology and X-ray imaging preferred
- Proficient in operating digital imaging systems and related technology
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining imaging quality and safety standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including a variety of X-ray examinations, following physician orders and safety protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and accurate results
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring imaging quality and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals to review images and facilitate timely patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic and written records for each study performed
- Adhere to infection control, patient privacy, and safety procedures consistently
