Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Current state licensure (Florida)
- Minimum of one year experience as an X-ray/Radiologic Technologist in a clinical or hospital environment
- Proficient with up-to-date imaging equipment and digital radiology systems
- Strong attention to patient safety, privacy, and detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, nurses, and patients
- CPR/BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as ordered by physicians
- Ensure patient comfort and proper positioning for accurate imaging
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, following all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in the health record system
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Adhere to all infection control and radiation safety standards
- Adjust to evolving priorities and assist other imaging staff as needed
