Job Description

Qualifications:
- Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Valid NYS license/registration in Radiologic Technology
- At least one year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Schedule:
- Contract assignment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiographic examinations following established protocols and safety standards
- Kindly greet each patient, explain imaging procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process
- Accurately position patients and set appropriate exposure factors to achieve optimal image quality
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating imaging equipment efficiently and with attention to safety
- Apply strict radiation safety standards to protect patients from unnecessary exposure
- Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisory staff
- Process films and accurately input data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
- Collaborate with referring physicians and radiologists to deliver precise imaging studies
