Qualifications:

• Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Valid NYS license/registration in Radiologic Technology
• At least one year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Schedule:

• Contract assignment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct radiographic examinations following established protocols and safety standards
• Kindly greet each patient, explain imaging procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process
• Accurately position patients and set appropriate exposure factors to achieve optimal image quality
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating imaging equipment efficiently and with attention to safety
• Apply strict radiation safety standards to protect patients from unnecessary exposure
• Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisory staff
• Process films and accurately input data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
• Collaborate with referring physicians and radiologists to deliver precise imaging studies
