Job Description

Providing diagnostic imaging services, this role requires a skilled Radiology Technologist to support orthopedic care in a busy clinical setting. The position is a contract assignment based in the greater Scranton, PA area and offers a rewarding opportunity to apply radiologic expertise in diverse procedures including fluoroscopy, portable imaging, C-arm, and OR imaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic radiographic procedures with precision and adherence to protocol.
  • Conduct fluoroscopy, portable x-rays, and C-arm procedures supporting orthopedic treatments.
  • Deliver OR imaging services ensuring accurate diagnostics under medical guidance.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and department guidelines to optimize patient care.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists and clinical teams to support patient diagnostics.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA Radiology Technologist program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with recent travel experience preferred.
  • Current state license as a general radiographer.
  • Orthopedic imaging experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and a committed approach to patient safety.

Schedule & Location:

  • Dayshift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
  • Location: Commonwealth Health Orthopedic Clinic, Kingston, PA (near Scranton)
