A healthcare facility in Rochester, NY seeks a skilled Radiology Technologist with a focus on imaging, ideally possessing interventional radiology experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Select exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce high-quality diagnostic radiologic images.
• Collaborate effectively with departmental team members to promptly resolve issues.
• Exhibit flexibility, respect, compassion, and accountability in patient and team interactions.
• Administer oral contrast as necessary and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, assisting Radiologists during procedures.
• Operate and maintain proficiency with X-ray equipment, including CR and DR systems; promptly report malfunctions.
• Complete assigned procedures efficiently and contribute to departmental operations during downtime by assisting with clerical, stocking, and transport tasks.
• Uphold medication security protocols.
• Deliver competent healthcare services and interpersonal communication across all patient age groups.
• Manage documentation using Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in hospital performance improvement projects and handle technical telephone inquiries professionally.

Qualifications:

• Current licensing to practice Radiologic Technology in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of two years experience in radiologic imaging.
• Preferred experience in interventional radiology.
