Exciting opportunity for a skilled Radiology Technologist to contribute expertise in imaging at a well-equipped Level 3 Trauma Center outside Racine, WI. This 60-bed facility offers a dynamic environment serving primarily adult patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments, with some pediatric cases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures including chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, and limited fluoroscopy.
- Operate C-arm and portable imaging equipment, supporting surgical and emergency cases.
- Provide excellent patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records, Pyxis for medication dispensing, and McKesson PACS for image management.
- Float within the hospital for portable imaging, assisting in the OR and ED as needed.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, comfortable as a first-time traveler.
- Certification in BLS and ARRT required; Wisconsin state licensing needed.
- Proficient with various imaging systems including Canon-GE portables, OEC C-arms, and Dell diagnostic rooms.
- Ability to adapt to various departments with supportive transport and hospitalist teams available.
- Covid-19 vaccination required.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- 3rd shift primarily, with two diagnostic beds and one fluoroscopy room (fluoro typically not used on 3rd shift).
- Free parking and comfortable orientation period of 2-3 days based on experience.
