Advance your radiology career in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment as an Imaging - Radiology Tech. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic radiology department recognized for excellence and cutting-edge care.
Schedule Details:
- Flexible shift start times (typically flexed by 11.5 hours based on staffing needs)
- MondayFriday with every other weekend rotation
- One day off during the week before and after working scheduled weekends
- On-call shift once per week (shifts: 6:30a2p, 2p10:30p, or 10:30p6:30a)
- Expectation to work one holiday per assignment
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or surgical radiology experience
- Valid ARRT and Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist license
- Current BLS certification
- High proficiency in surgical/procedure imaging, general and portable radiology
- Fluoroscopy experience (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases)
- Operating Room experience with orthopedic, general, and spinal procedures (o-arm proficiency preferred)
- Prior experience with mid-to-high-level hospital environments
- Comfortable with all patient ages; primarily adults with some pediatric cases
- EMR experience with Epic preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and procedural imaging for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department cases
- Operate a variety of advanced imaging equipment: GE, Fuji, Del Medical X-ray, Medtronic o-arms, GE 9900 C-arms
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, lead techs, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Adapt swiftly to a high-volume workflow averaging 1520 patients per shift
- Participate in department orientation and training to ensure proficiency with hospital systems
