Qualifications:

• Current certification or registration as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent required)
• Valid state license to practice as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist
• Demonstrated experience operating a wide range of imaging equipment, including X-ray and digital radiography systems
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and HIPAA compliance
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• BLS certification (current)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, position, and perform radiological imaging procedures on patients according to physicians orders
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to capture clear, high-quality diagnostic images
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety regulations and infection control protocols
• Ensure correct patient identification and thorough documentation of procedures
• Review images for clarity, quality, and completeness before sending them to physicians or radiologists for interpretation
• Assist in patient transport and care during procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper storage of imaging data
