Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts
• Every other weekend coverage

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Radiology Technologist certification or license as required by state regulations
• Minimum of 1 year prior experience in an imaging/radiology setting, preferably pediatric
• Strong knowledge of radiologic technology, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
• Solid communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to work well under rotating schedules, including weekends and call shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety and imaging quality
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the healthcare systems electronic records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate imaging methods
• Provide support and reassurance to patients throughout the imaging process, demonstrating compassion and professionalism
• Adhere strictly to all safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
