Job Description

Leverage your expertise in medical imaging to make a meaningful difference in patient care. This position involves utilizing advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels. With additional training, you may occasionally support the administration of radiation therapy treatments. The primary responsibility will be conducting X-ray examinations, and flexibility is essential, as floating to nearby facilities may be required to ensure coverage.

Schedule:

  • Night shifts
  • 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours
  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Thorough understanding and proficiency in imaging techniques and equipment
  • Previous experience performing X-ray exams; familiarity with additional imaging modalities a plus
  • Willingness to float to other facilities as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing technically excellent images
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision while contributing to the healthcare team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to protocols and safety standards
  • Produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Accurately position patients and ensure comfort and safety during procedures
  • Perform X-ray exams and, with training, assist in radiation therapy treatments
  • Record patient history, track procedure details, and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to deliver efficient patient care across multiple facilities if needed
