Job Description

Seeking a skilled and motivated imaging professional capable of providing high-quality radiographic services. This opportunity involves a 13-week contract assignment working primarily nights on a 3x12s schedule. The role encompasses the use of specialized imaging equipment to capture detailed images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels. Candidates with advanced training may also assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments. Flexibility to float to other nearby facilities is essential.

Schedule:

  • Nights
  • 3 x 12-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Experience in general X-ray imaging required
  • Ability to proficiently operate imaging equipment and adhere to established protocols
  • Willingness and capability to float between facilities as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiology imaging, including X-rays, for various body systems
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper imaging processes and patient care
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Adhere to established protocols and maintain accurate patient records
  • With advanced training, assist radiation therapy staff with select procedures
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues promptly
  • Flex between assigned locations to provide coverage as needed
