Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with experience in a high-acuity hospital setting. This contract position is centered in Overland Park, KS, working evenings with a schedule of 10.5 hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM. The role requires precision and technical expertise to perform imaging procedures effectively across four attached buildings equipped with x-ray technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiologic procedures using state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
  • Utilize computer systems to perform patient testing and monitor quality and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams ensuring accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Adhere to safety standards and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications and Certification:

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiology Technology program.
  • Must hold BLS, ARRT, and Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) credentials.
  • Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license required at time of application.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Details:

  • Orientation includes an 8-hour non-billable session held on the KC campus prior to starting.
  • The facility maintains a nicotine-free environment.
  • No weekend or on-call duties.
  • Holiday coverage as needed.
  • Schedule: 10.5-hour evening shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Bi-weekly pay structure.
