Job Description

Seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technologist to perform outpatient imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role involves operating X-ray equipment, positioning patients for various radiologic procedures, and processing images using PACS, all while providing excellent patient care under nursing supervision. The position may also involve floating to the main radiology department as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients accurately for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle X-rays.
  • Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Process and document imaging results into the PACS system.
  • Provide basic patient care, including vital signs, specimen collection when qualified, and assisting clinicians.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Float between outpatient and main radiology departments as required.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • Active ARRT licensure.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
  • Prior experience as a travel technologist preferred.
