Job Description
An experienced Radiology Technologist is needed for an Interventional Radiology unit in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital located in North Little Rock, AR. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a specialized 7-bed suite supporting complex procedures and a diverse patient population, including liver failure, AVM, and multiple myeloma cases.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures using specialized equipment such as ACT and EKOS catheter setups.
- Assist with invasive monitoring including EVD/ICP monitoring and lumbar drains.
- Start IVs and monitor sedated patients during interventional procedures.
- Administer sedation medications and blood products as ordered.
- Monitor patient EKGs and manage drips including Integrelin, TPA, Propofol, Heparin, Fentanyl, and Versed.
- Collaborate with IR Body, Neuro IR, and Vascular Surgery teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in rotation schedule with 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM shifts, including one night on call per week and coverage on the fifth weekend.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with at least 1 year in Radiology or related specialty.
- Certification in BLS and ACLS required.
- Experience with Epic documentation system preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 5:30 PM shifts
- Rotation schedule includes night call once per week and occasional holiday coverage
