Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Valid state license (as required)
• Proficient in operating radiology imaging equipment and safety protocols
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic health records
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
• BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical radiology department is valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and best practices
• Prepare and position patients safely and with respect for optimal imaging results
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and timely upload of images into EHR systems
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns to ensure comfort and understanding
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for seamless patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Participate in department quality improvement activities as requested
