Key Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced radiology imaging equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment for optimal image clarity
- Adhere to strict safety and radiation protection protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure proper imaging techniques and timely results
- Maintain patient records and log exam details in compliance with hospital standards
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, addressing questions and concerns to provide reassurance
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or troubleshooting as necessary
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT) or equivalent credential required
- Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology
- Previous experience as a Radiology Tech in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols and privacy regulations (HIPAA)
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems and hospital information systems
