Qualifications and Experience:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Active state license as a Radiology Technologist (if applicable)
• Proven experience in a hospital or clinical radiology department
• Understanding of safety protocols, radiation safety, and imaging best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to handle and maintain imaging equipment and medical records
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as ordered by healthcare providers
• Prepare patients for imaging and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process
• Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot common issues, and coordinate repairs as needed
• Adhere to established radiology protocols and comply with HIPAA and patient privacy standards
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure prompt delivery of results
• Document patient information and procedure details in electronic health records
