Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Valid state license in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital-based radiology/diagnostic imaging experience
- Proficiency in safe operation of imaging equipment and electronic health records
- Strong communication abilities with both patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage workflow efficiently and adapt to evolving patient needs
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, ensuring accurate image capture and patient safety
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Clearly communicate exam procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and cooperation
- Review images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists
- Follow all infection control and patient privacy policies
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to support optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
