Seeking an experienced radiology professional for a contract assignment specializing in imaging. This position is essential in providing high-quality radiologic examinations and supporting patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accepted
• Active and valid New York State license/registration
• Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist, including CT or MRI
• Successful completion of a pre-employment health clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct radiographic exams under the guidance of departmental radiologists
• Greet patients, explain procedures clearly, and ensure patient comfort throughout their experience
• Position patients and set appropriate exposure settings to achieve quality images
• Practice rigorous radiation safety and protection protocols to minimize patient exposure
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and recognize/report any technical malfunctions to supervisors
• Manage film processing and accurately enter information into the Radiology Information System for thorough documentation and billing
• Comply with all departmental procedures and protocols as outlined in policy manuals
• Provide imaging services based on the needs of referring physicians and radiologists
