Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract opportunity; schedule details provided during the interview process.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
• Current New York State license/registration as a radiologic technologist
• Minimum of one year experience in CT or MRI as a technologist
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough and accurate radiographic examinations under the supervision of department radiologists
• Greet and communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance during examinations
• Accurately position patients and set appropriate exposure parameters to achieve optimal image quality
• Operate imaging equipment with proficiency and report any malfunctions to the supervisor promptly
• Uphold high standards of radiation safety and protection, ensuring minimal exposure for patients
• Complete all required documentation, including input of data into the Radiology Information System for tracking and billing
• Process films as needed, maintaining organization and workflow
• Adhere strictly to established departmental policies, protocols, and quality assurance guidelines
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians and radiologists to deliver timely and precise diagnostic images
