Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract opportunity; schedule details provided during the interview process.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Current New York State license/registration as a radiologic technologist
- Minimum of one year experience in CT or MRI as a technologist
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough and accurate radiographic examinations under the supervision of department radiologists
- Greet and communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance during examinations
- Accurately position patients and set appropriate exposure parameters to achieve optimal image quality
- Operate imaging equipment with proficiency and report any malfunctions to the supervisor promptly
- Uphold high standards of radiation safety and protection, ensuring minimal exposure for patients
- Complete all required documentation, including input of data into the Radiology Information System for tracking and billing
- Process films as needed, maintaining organization and workflow
- Adhere strictly to established departmental policies, protocols, and quality assurance guidelines
- Collaborate closely with referring physicians and radiologists to deliver timely and precise diagnostic images
