Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification (Radiography) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or equivalent
• Proven clinical experience in general radiology imaging
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with PACS and radiology information systems preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate radiology equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Ensure accurate patient identification and provide clear instructions before and during procedures
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Review images for quality and clarity, addressing any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete all required documentation
• Adhere to all safety guidelines to protect patients, team members, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals
