As a Multi Modality Radiology Technologist, youll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging across multiple modalities. This position offers the opportunity to independently operate imaging equipment, perform diagnostic examinations, and take on responsibilities related to department operations and patient scheduling. Your work environment encourages ongoing education and a dedication to upholding high standards of medical ethics and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED (required)
  • Associates degree or completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program (required)
  • Certified by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality and licensed by the state of Ohio (required)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS, required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in one radiology modality and completion of a second modality orientation (preferred)
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment and protocol issues
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to safely handle lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform diagnostic imaging in more than one modality
  • Demonstrate competency in imaging skills and deliver age-specific care
  • Maintain accurate records, conduct equipment quality control, and report equipment issues
  • Uphold hospital values, policies, and regulatory compliance
  • Train students and new staff after one year of experience
  • Enter billing codes and support department operations administratively
