A healthcare facility located in Kingsland, GA is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with strong imaging skills, including both CT and X-ray procedures. This position involves utilizing advanced imaging techniques that may encompass fluoroscopy and operating room imaging. The role offers a contracted opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and additional on-call hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
- Utilize fluoroscopy and operate within the operating room environment as required for patient care
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional imaging services
- Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to all safety protocols and standards
- Manage imaging equipment and ensure proper maintenance and calibration
- Participate in call duties as assigned to provide imaging support during off-hours
Qualifications:
- Certified Radiology Technologist with demonstrated experience in CT and X-ray imaging
- Significant CT experience required; formal CT credential not mandatory
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy and operating room imaging preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Additional call hours as necessary
