Schedule:
- Rotating shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Call requirements are part of the role and will be discussed during the interview process
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- State licensure as required
- Proven experience with digital imaging systems and pediatric radiology preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures according to established protocols, including X-rays and other diagnostic studies
- Ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing safety, especially with pediatric patients
- Communicate clearly with patients and families to explain procedures and alleviate concerns
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Assist in maintaining departmental equipment, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards
- Participate in rotating call shifts and demonstrate flexibility for varying schedules as needed
