Seeking an experienced Imaging - Radiology Tech to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services on a contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work with pediatric patients in a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to high-quality patient care alongside other skilled professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• State licensure as required for radiologic technologists
• Experience in pediatric imaging or a strong desire to work in a pediatric setting preferred
• Proficiency with standard imaging modalities and digital radiology equipment
• Strong attention to detail and precision in image acquisition
• Ability to communicate compassionately with young patients and their families
• Current BLS certification

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirements will be discussed during the interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations following physicians orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position pediatric patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging logs
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize imaging results and workflow
• Ensure proper operation and care of radiologic equipment, including safety and infection control protocols
• Respond to emergency imaging needs efficiently as assigned
