This travel opportunity is tailored for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with a comprehensive background in IR/Cath Lab procedures, trauma body imaging, and neuro stroke cases. The role offers a dynamic work environment within a Level I Trauma Center setting, requiring proficiency in high-quality imaging and patient care.

Work Schedule & Assignment Details:
- 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Rotating day off and rotating on-call shifts
- Weekend and float duties required
- 13-week assignment with travel flexibility

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures following established protocols with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, utilizing AIDET techniques
- Strictly adhere to radiation safety, sterile techniques, and infection control policies
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, coordinating with engineers as needed
- Manage documentation, including patient history, consent forms, and imaging records
- Provide excellent customer service by minimizing wait times and promoting a calm environment
- Administer first aid and participate actively in emergency response
- Serve as a resource and preceptor to new team members
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab
- Experience with trauma body and neuro stroke imaging
- BLS certification (AHA Only), MRT, ARRT credentials required
- Epic system experience and Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call cases (50-mile radius waived)
