Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Radiology Technologist specializing in Imaging, located in Houston, TX. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a specialized Cath Lab environment on the 1st and 2nd floors of a leading medical centers South Tower.
Location:
Situated in Houston, Texas, this facility is renowned for its advanced medical services with a hospital average daily census of 120 patients. Houston itself is a bustling metropolis known for its diverse culture, thriving job market, and rich arts scene, providing an excellent quality of life both professionally and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a high-volume Cath Lab setting
- Utilize advanced equipment, including Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems
- Support clinical trials with structural heart imaging and heavy structural cases
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs and other radiology techs
- Adhere to unit guidelines and maintain professional dress codes (royal blue scrubs)
- Participate in weekend coverage and on-call rotations (every other weekend and one weekday)
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas State RN License or Compact License
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proven experience working with structural heart imaging preferred
- Self-motivated with a strong team-focus approach
- Ability to work within a structured and fast-paced Cath Lab environment
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7 AM 5 PM
- After-hours and weekend on-call availability
Additional Details:
- Unit staffed with 3-4 healthcare professionals per room
- Floating assignments in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab pre/post procedures
