Job Description

A healthcare facility in Hazleton, PA, is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services on a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers day shifts Monday through Friday, working 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in a full range of radiologic procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable imaging, OR and C-arm imaging, and routine diagnostics. Prior orthopedic imaging experience is preferred to meet the specific needs of the orthopedic clinic setting. An active ARRT certification and current state licensure as a general radiographer are required, along with at least one year of professional experience and recent travel experience in radiology.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
  • Active ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Current state radiologic technologist license
  • Minimum one year recent travel experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Experience with orthopedic radiology preferred
  • Skilled in performing fluoroscopy, portable x-rays, C-arm, OR imaging, and routine radiographic procedures

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate diagnostic images for inpatient and outpatient care
  • Operating radiographic equipment according to safety protocols
  • Collaborating with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure high-quality imaging results
  • Maintaining patient records and imaging logs in compliance with regulatory standards
