Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated competency in general radiology tech functions
  • Ability to perform a breadth of imaging exams per department protocol
  • Capable of operating and positioning imaging equipment with minimal supervision
  • Strong sense of dependability, accountability, and teamwork
  • Previous experience as a clinical instructor or coordinator preferred
  • Commitment to honest, ethical evaluations and feedback to students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently execute a variety of imaging procedures, applying sound judgment and initiative
  • Set up equipment and prepare patients for diagnostic examinations
  • Ensure patient safety while delivering age-appropriate care
  • Accurately acquire quality diagnostic images and promptly relay results
  • Serve as a clinical coordinator and instructor for medical imaging students, providing guidance and clear, constructive feedback throughout their rotations
  • Complete evaluations for students, supporting their educational development
