Job Description
This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures primarily in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include positioning patients for X-rays of various body parts such as the chest, hand, wrist, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle. The technologist operates X-ray equipment independently, processes images, and manages documentation within the PACS system. Basic patient care duties under the supervision of clinic nursing staff are also expected, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting with specimen collection when qualified. Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked area is part of the daily routine. The position may also require floating to the main radiology department as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services
- Current CPR certification
- California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
- Active ARRT licensure
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Previous travel experience preferred
