Youll play a vital role as a Radiologic Technologist, performing advanced imaging procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients, contributing directly to critical diagnostic workflows.
Schedule:
- 3x12s, Friday-Sunday
- Night shift, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a Level I Trauma environment
- ARRT certification
- Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (TX-MRT) license
- BLS (AHA only)
- Comfort working independently and managing a demanding caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality radiology procedures per protocol
- Maintain production and image quality standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team, utilizing AIDET principles
- Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, drug, and radiation protocols
- Prepare and position patients appropriately, ensuring their comfort and cooperation
- Document all procedures, relevant patient histories, and required consent forms promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance
- Train and guide new staff as needed
