Your Role:

  • Work consistently in more than one imaging modality, performing high-quality diagnostic exams.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex imaging equipment.
  • Uphold rigorous patient safety standards, including adherence to ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely protocols.
  • Deliver age-appropriate care, ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Administer quality control checks on equipment and maintain detailed log records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including preparation for inspections.
  • Instruct and mentor students or new staff after one year of experience.
  • Utilize administrative skills to accurately code procedures in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all policies regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and Associate's Degree or completion of accredited 2-year radiologic technology program.
  • Certification by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality.
  • Ohio state licensure and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • 1+ years experience in primary modality and successful completion of secondary modality orientation (preferred).
  • Proven knowledge of modality-specific equipment, PACS, EMR, RIS, and outstanding problem-solving and communication abilities.
