Job Description

Engage in a stimulating hospital setting, recognized as both a Level II Trauma Center and a Magnet-designated facility, where youll work with leading technology and enhance your clinical expertise. Youll have the chance to collaborate with seasoned professionals across cath labs, interventional platforms, and hybrid rooms, immersing yourself in a variety of procedural environments and high-acuity cases. Exposure to multiple specialties and leadership styles will broaden your resume and offer invaluable insights into best workplace practices.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotation: Call only
  • 10-11 call shifts per month, including 2 weekends (F/Sa/Su)
  • Call hours: 4p7a (weekdays); 4p Friday7a Monday (weekends)
  • 30-minute response time required
  • Facility orientation: 12 hours

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Radiology Tech: IEMA (IL license), ARRT, BLS, ACLS
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology; cross-training preferred
  • Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously, with proficiency in Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Hybrid/EP/IR experience is a plus
  • Prior travel experience is required; not open to first-time travelers
  • COVID vaccination required

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care in various procedural rooms, including cath lab, hybrid, EP, and IR settings
  • Work with adult inpatients and outpatients, focusing on intra-procedural care (no pre/post required)
  • Manage a 1:1 patient ratio for optimal outcomes
  • Document procedures using EPIC, Merge hemodynamic, and GE Cardio (EP)
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as part of a dedicated three-person team
