Job Description
Perform advanced imaging procedures in the Cath Lab at a leading medical center in Cypress, TX. This contract position offers a dynamic clinical environment focused on Structural Heart interventions, including clinical trials, utilizing cutting-edge Siemens, GE, and Philips equipment. Candidates must be licensed Radiology Technologists with a Texas credential and demonstrate strong skills in imaging and data collection.
Location Details:
The Cath Lab is situated on the 1st floor of the South Tower, serving a hospital with an average daily census of 120 patients. The unit operates Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with after-hours and weekend on-call coverage. The team staffing includes 3-4 professionals per room, working closely in a multidisciplinary setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures related to interventional radiology and structural heart cases, including support for clinical trials
- Collaborate closely with a team of radiology techs and RNs for day shift operations
- Adhere strictly to unit guidelines including scrub color policy (royal blue) and attendance for every other weekend plus one weekday
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and use of EMR systems (Merge)
- Participate in weekend and on-call coverage as required
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Texas State Radiology Technologist License (or compact license) required
- ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory
- Experience in structural heart imaging preferred
- Self-motivated and team-oriented with strong communication skills

- Day shift hours, M-F 7 AM to 5 PM with weekend and on-call requirements
