Step into a critical role supporting medical imaging services as an Imaging Specialist skilled in both Radiology and X-ray Technology. This contract position requires an experienced professional who can provide high-quality diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety and accurate results alongside a collaborative team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- State licensure as required for radiology/X-ray professionals
- Solid experience in diagnostic imaging, including both general radiology and X-ray procedures
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with healthcare staff and patients
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, PACS, and electronic medical record systems
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray and general radiology imaging equipment to capture clear, accurate images as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
- Follow physician instructions precisely, adapting procedures to meet specific diagnostic needs
- Adhere strictly to all radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Ensure proper documentation and timely upload of images and reports to digital record systems
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and workspace
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technical staff to ensure optimal patient care

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
