Step into a critical role supporting medical imaging services as an Imaging Specialist skilled in both Radiology and X-ray Technology. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• State licensure as required for radiology/X-ray professionals
• Solid experience in diagnostic imaging, including both general radiology and X-ray procedures
• Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with healthcare staff and patients
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, PACS, and electronic medical record systems
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and general radiology imaging equipment to capture clear, accurate images as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Follow physician instructions precisely, adapting procedures to meet specific diagnostic needs
• Adhere strictly to all radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Ensure proper documentation and timely upload of images and reports to digital record systems
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and workspace
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technical staff to ensure optimal patient care
