Key Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Active New York State license/registration as a radiologic technologist.
  • Minimum of one year of CT/MRI experience in a clinical setting.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment health screening.

Schedule/Hours:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations under the guidance of departmental radiologists.
  • Welcome patients, clearly explain imaging procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout the experience.
  • Correctly position patients and set exposure factors to consistently obtain high-quality radiographs.
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and protection standards for all patients.
  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently and troubleshoot or report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Process and manage radiologic images, ensuring accurate input of patient data into the Radiology Information System for documentation.
  • Follow department protocols and procedures as outlined in the facility's Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and radiologists to provide studies tailored to specific diagnostic needs.
