Job Description
Imaging professionals with expertise in radiology will find a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic outpatient setting. This contract position located in Chico, CA, offers the chance to utilize and expand your diagnostic technology skills while delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include positioning patients for x-ray imaging of various body parts such as chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle. You will operate X-ray equipment independently, process images, and document them into the PACS system. Supporting patients involves basic care activities under clinical supervision, including obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for evaluation, and assisting clinicians. Additionally, maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked imaging area is essential. Flexibility to float to Main Radiology may be required.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services
- Current CPR certification
- California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
- Active ARRT licensure
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Previous traveler experience is preferred
