Job Description

Join an advanced cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) team as a certified Radiologic Technologist specializing in interventional cardiology. This travel opportunity, based near the vibrant city of Cambridge, MA, invites experienced imaging professionals to contribute expertise in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment supporting adult patients with complex cardiac needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and assist in interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, Impella, balloon pump placement, device implants, and ablations.
  • Scrub in for procedures requiring sterile technique in the EP lab, including device implants and lead revisions.
  • Operate Toshiba X-Ray and Canon imaging equipment with precision and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with medical staff using EPIC and cupid charting systems to document patient care.
  • Provide coverage to Interventional Radiology as needed, demonstrating flexibility and comprehensive radiology skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist with current Massachusetts state license.
  • Minimum 3 years recent experience in Cath/EP labs with proficiency in interventional cardiac imaging and scrub duties.
  • ACLS certification from AHA mandatory.
  • Skilled in using EPIC EMR systems and interventional radiology equipment.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced, specialized unit emphasizing cardiac patient care.

Schedule:

  • 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).
  • 7 on-call shifts per 4-week schedule block, including a full weekend (Friday-Sunday).
  • On-call room available onsite to support work-life balance during call periods.
