Contribute your expertise in a dynamic radiology department within a prestigious, magnet-designated Level III Trauma and Primary Stroke Center. Technologists encounter a broad patient populationincluding inpatients, outpatients, emergency, procedural, and limited pediatric caseswith a high level of surgical and acute care. Schedule & Hours
- Full-time contract
- Monday through Friday with every other weekend rotation
- Flexible shift times with a 11.5 hour window based on staffing needs
- On-call: one shift per week (rotating schedule)
- Holiday: one assigned per contract
- One day off during the week before and after your weekend rotation
Qualifications & Experience
- ARRT certification (current)
- Wisconsin Radiographer license (current)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in acute or surgical radiology settings
- Highly skilled with general radiology, portable imaging, surgical/procedural support
- Fluoro competencies: ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology
- OR experience required: comfortable with ortho, spine, and general surgery (o-arm experience preferred)
- Experience using EMR (Epic), various GE, Fuji, Del Medical X-ray equipment, McKesson PACS, GE/Medtronic C-arms
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform imaging on diverse patients in diagnostic, fluoroscopy, pain clinic, dental and video swallow settings (15-20 cases per tech/day)
- Collaborate with a robust team of technologists, lead tech, radiologists, and hospitalist/intensivist support available 24/7
- Float within department as needed; no cross-unit floating
- Participate in department orientation and ongoing education
