Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients accurately for radiological examinations, ensuring patient comfort and understanding
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CR, Fluoro, and DR technology with strict adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Operate radiologic equipment efficiently, including image transfer to PACS, document scanning, and priority settings for urgent cases
  • Collaborate with radiologists and assist during fluoroscopic and special procedures, employing sterile techniques as required
  • Administer contrast media orally and intravenously, monitoring patient reactions and documenting meticulously
  • Maintain proper radiation safety protocols following ALARA principles to protect patients and staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Execute clerical tasks supporting imaging workflows, quality assurance, and departmental efficiency

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiological Technology program
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist credential through ARRT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in compliance with American Heart Association standards
  • One year of relevant experience performing radiologic procedures in hospital or clinical environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiologic equipment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
