As a Radiology Tech in the Interventional Platform, youll work in a Level II Trauma Center with Magnet designation, offering exposure to diverse workplace practices in a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary environment. With a variety of interventional and hybrid procedures performedranging from complex cath lab cases to advanced IR interventionsthis assignment promises constant professional growth, hands-on experience with advanced technologies, and the chance to expand your resume working alongside specialized clinical teams committed to excellence.
Schedule/Hours:
- Call-based shifts: 1011 calls per month
- 2 weekends/month (FridaySunday on call)
- Call hours: Weekdays 4p7a; weekends 4p Friday7a Monday
- Holidays: On-call onlyexpect 12 holidays per contract
- 30-minute response time required
Qualifications:
- Current IEMA (IL radiology license), ARRT, BLS, ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience (cross-training preferred)
- Not open to first-time travelers
- Skills: Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously, Impella and balloon pump experience, hemodynamic monitoring
- Hybrid, EP, IR experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide intra-procedural technical support for Cath Lab, IR, Hybrid, and EP cases
- Collaborate within a dedicated team (1:1 patient ratio)
- Document in EPIC, Merge hemodynamic, GE Cardio (EP), Siemens equipment
- Participate in a three-person call team rotation
- Float between IR/CL if skilled in both modalities
