Job Description

You will perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures independently, utilizing advanced imaging equipment and adhering to departmental protocols.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Expertise in diagnostic radiology techniques and equipment operation.
  • Proven dependability, accountability, and strong cooperative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, age-appropriate care in a clinical setting.
  • Independent judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness in imaging procedures.
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and with colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a clinical instructor or student mentorship capacity is a plus.
  • Encourages professional development and ethical, honest feedback for students in clinical rotations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad variety of imaging procedures in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Set up imaging equipment and accurately position patients to ensure optimal diagnostic results.
  • Ensure all exams are conducted with patient safety and high-quality outcomes as priorities.
  • Serve as a clinical coordinator and instructor for radiology students, providing guidance and meaningful evaluations.
  • Deliver constructive criticism and coaching to students, fostering their growth and development throughout clinical rotations.
