Schedule/Hours:
- Travel-based assignment (specific schedule details provided upon interview)
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Active New York State license/registration as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum one year of experience as a radiologic technologist
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiographic examinations under direction of departmental radiologists
- Explain procedures and exams clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
- Position patients and set appropriate exposure factors to attain superior image quality
- Uphold the highest standards of radiation safety and patient protection
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions
- Process films and accurately enter data into the Radiology Information System for documentation and administrative functions
- Follow all departmental protocols and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
- Adapt to the needs of referring physicians and lead radiologists with professionalism and precision
