Schedule/Hours:

• Travel-based assignment (specific schedule details provided upon interview)

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
• Active New York State license/registration as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum one year of experience as a radiologic technologist
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct radiographic examinations under direction of departmental radiologists
• Explain procedures and exams clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
• Position patients and set appropriate exposure factors to attain superior image quality
• Uphold the highest standards of radiation safety and patient protection
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions
• Process films and accurately enter data into the Radiology Information System for documentation and administrative functions
• Follow all departmental protocols and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
• Adapt to the needs of referring physicians and lead radiologists with professionalism and precision
