Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT (Radiography) certification
- State licensure as required
- Proficiency in standard radiologic procedures, including digital imaging
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Previous hospital-based radiology experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology exams as ordered by medical staff
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
- Properly position and prepare patients for diagnostic imaging
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor images for clarity and diagnostic value
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow established protocols for infection control and equipment sanitation
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding exams, instructions, and results as appropriate
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team for optimal patient care
