Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Valid state license, if required
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Proficient in operating digital and conventional radiography equipment
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment according to established protocols
- Assist with patient transfers and support during imaging procedures
- Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations
- Document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for optimal imaging results
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times
