Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific hours determined by assignment needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT scans with precision
- Ensure patient comfort, clearly explain procedures, and uphold strict safety protocols
- Acquire and process diagnostic images, maintain radio pharmacy operations, and perform daily quality control
- Manage patient data within the eRecord CUPID system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and other team members to implement and refine new lab technologies and protocols
- Consistently model integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in all aspects of patient care
- Participate in specialized studies such as SPECT blood flow, cardiac amyloidosis, and PET sarcoid or viability studies
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Minimum 6 months of cardiac imaging experience
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) credential
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
