As a nuclear medicine travel professional, you'll deepen your clinical skills with advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT, while collaborating with experienced colleagues who encourage continuous learning and protocol optimization. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position (specific schedule details provided during interview)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and expertise
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care, thoroughly explaining procedures and prioritizing comfort and safety
- Acquire/process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and manage radio pharmacy operations per NYSDOH guidelines
- Document and manage all patient data in the eRecord CUPID system, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance
- Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols
- Uphold values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence on every shift
- Contribute to unique studies, including SPECT blood flow, cardiac amyloidosis, hybrid SPECT resting, and PET sarcoid/viability studies
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- At least 6 months of cardiac imaging experience
- Current NYS Radiologic Technologist License
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
