Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Registered or certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology (e.g., ARRT (N), NMTCB, or equivalent)
- Active, unrestricted state license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine Imaging highly preferred
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation, administration, and safe handling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Competency in maintaining accurate documentation and patient records
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and treatment
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized imaging equipment to capture functional organ/tissue images
- Explain imaging procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
- Ensure strict safety protocols for handling and administering radioactive materials
- Maintain equipment for quality assurance and compliance
- Accurately document procedures and collaborate closely with physicians to inform diagnoses and treatment
