An opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to take on an 8-week travel assignment. This role focuses on performing advanced imaging using two different camera systems: Siemens for Nuclear Medicine and Discovery ST for PET. The position begins approximately April 6 and may have flexibility for extension based on mutual agreement.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures with accuracy and patient care in mind
- Operating and maintaining Siemens and Discovery ST imaging equipment effectively
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to support diagnostic needs
- Managing schedule with a 5-day, 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, concluding by 5:30 PM
Desired qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging
- Valid BLS or CPR certification
- Registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
